The hearing that subpoenaed Kim Cheatle was held today and I followed the news as closely as everyone else. It didn’t take long to see from her responses that she went into the hearing under orders to give out no actual information. Little snippets she did mention, like the encrypted conversations she’s having on her work phone, raised a lot of eyebrows.
The networks cut off the live feed when Cheatle was asked about multiple shooters. That, I suppose, is a little too much information for the public to speculate on. It’s far more remarkable that the questions came up at all in an official setting; those of us who regularly question narratives are used to doing it without any support from the people we elected to represent us.
I held off sending this comic though because I was waiting to see if our President is alive. The White House released a note from his doctor that said he’s nearly recovered from COVID (with handwritten text on the back of the letter for some reason), yet we haven’t seen him since Wednesday. Kamala Harris flew to Delaware, yet only talked to him on speakerphone (and corrected herself when she referred to his voice as a recording for some reason). Meanwhile, news reports are either describing him as scheduled for events later in the week or lying in hospice.
At some point we’ll know the truth and speculation will end. There’s so much distance between the stories, someone is definitely lying, and as usual, the American people are the butt of the joke.
New Pod Life!
Be on the lookout tomorrow when I release the final episode in our Ernst Thalmann series. The next Pod Life will be an hilariously disturbing examination of life under the Chinese social credit system.
