They deny there will be more surveillance while acknowledging fines will be applied through surveillance. They can drive freely, but they're fined if they drive into other neighborhoods. None of this sustainable development takes into account individual rights, let alone the practical problems disabled people would encounter.
Doing a few smart city comics has been in planning for a few weeks. We have been interrupted by more pressing stories and of course, we couldn’t pass over the debate. Even so, we weren’t going to abandon what had already been written and drawn.
Every time I post to TikTok I get comments demanding every comic be a real event with no exaggeration as if readers don't know what satire is. I'm simultaneously fascinated and mourning for our culture.
